Smoking has a wide variety of health effects and can affect just about every organ in the body. But one of the organs that is most directly affected is the lungs. This is maybe not surprising as this is the organ in direct contact with cigarette smoke.

Read more on Lungs Problems Treatment and Home Remedies for Asthma and Indigestion Treatment

The lungs are organs of respiration. They are designed to carry air that contains oxygen and pass this oxygen to the blood stream. Everybody has two lungs that are divided into lobes.

When somebody starts smoking this causes irritation of the cells lining the air tubes within the lungs (the bronchi and bronchioles). One of the body’s basic responses to this is to produce mucus. This mucus can reduce the diameter of the airtubes making it more difficult to breathe. Have you heard of a ‘smoker’s cough’? This is when a smoker coughs up this mucus.

Smoking has the most harmful effects on the respiratory system. Smokers are 12 times more likely to get lung cancer than non-smokers. Also smokers who continue their habit for a long time can get Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or COPD. This is one of the leading causes of death for smokers.

To avoid the harmful effects smoking has on your lungs and heart you absolutely need to quit smoking. The good news is that sooner you quit smoking the odds of getting smoking related diseases rapidly decrease. Even if you have been smoking for a long time your health will improve by quitting smoking.

You can increase your odds of kicking the habit with the assistance of a stop smoking program. You have many options but you may want to look into NLP. It is an all natural method to quit smoking, so you avoid the costs and side effects associated with medications. It is also very successful compared to a lot of other stop smoking methods at helping smokers to rid themselves of smoking and harmful smoking effects.

One of the gases in cigarette smoke is carbon monoxide. This gas interferes with the process of oxygenation of blood in the lungs. In fact if you inhale too much carbon monoxide you will suffocate and die. This gas is present in car exhaust fumes and is responsible for the deaths of many people each year using this as a form of suicide.

The air sacs in your lungs where oxygen is passed to the blood are called alveoli. These have a very large surface area – about the size of a tennis court. Every time that you smoke you kill some of these alveoli. These structures can’t grow back, so once they are destroyed, that’s it.

When you breathe in, harming toxins and chemicals are inhaled. If you are an occasional smoker, the lung care would be a simple thing for you as the cilia can do the work easily. But if you are a heavy smoker, many of the tiny cilia are damaged, and the cleaning process is affected. Many people who have undergone a lung detoxification process find quitting smoking a lot easier because as their lungs becomes cleaner the body actually becomes quit averse top cigarette smoke, tar and nicotine as the respitory system once again remembers that these things are not just normal items to be found in your lungs but are foreign invaders! Many smokers believe that they think better when they smoke. This is a deceptive feeling that is actually caused by a temporary euphoria brought on by the nicotine receptors in the brain.

The more one smokes the greater the chance of developing lung cancer. If you are a heavy smoker (a pack a day or more) your chances are even greater. However the sooner a smoker quits, their risk of developing cancer lessens. A few months after you quit smoking your circulation will start to improve and you will have more capacity in your lungs. This means you will feel fitter and be able to exercise more. You will be able to walk, jog of play sports without gasping for air.

If you have been smoking for a while, it can have a negative effect on your lungs. Some of those negative effects are a chronic hacking cough as well as shortness of breath. If you have these symptoms, most likely, your lungs are clogging up with tar and other chemicals from smoking. But the situation is not irreversible, you can still get clear lungs in a relatively short time.

So, how does smoking interfere with your lungs? In healthy clear lungs, the passage ways in your lungs must be kept clean and free of sediments that could clog the tiny passage ways and interfere with the oxygen/carbon dioxide exchange. In order to maintain good clear lungs, your lungs contain thousands of tiny hair like stalks called cilia. The cilia continually sweep impurities and sediment out of the lungs to keep them clean.

When you smoke, tar and other chemicals are drawn into the lungs. If you are just an occasional smoker, the cilia can easily keep the lungs clean. But if you are a heavy smoker, the cilia cannot effectively do their job. As you continue to smoke, many of the tiny cilia are damaged, making the cleaning process even more difficult. Over time, tar from cigarette smoke begins to clog the tiny air chambers.

If you smoke regular cigarettes, as opposed to light or low tar versions, you inhale about 22 milligrams with each puff. Smoking 2 packs a day, you can ingest almost a quart on tar during the course of a year. It is difficult, if not impossible, for your system to keep up with this much inhaled tar and maintain clear lungs. As a result, you may experience coughing and shortness of breath.

So, what can you do if you have a nasty cough and want to get back your healthy clear lungs? The solution is simple. There is a simple process that can give you nice clear lungs. The technique uses a simple combination of food supplements and vitamins that rinse the toxins out of your lungs and flush them out of your body. This easy process will clean out your lungs 15 – 20 times faster than your body can do it on its own.

If you’ve been smoking for some time now, you can get rid of that hacking cough and get clear lungs. Download the details for this easy process at Get Clear Lungs Now!

Get Healthy Clear Lungs and Do Away with That Chronic Smokers Cough

If you have been smoking for a while, it can have a negative effect on your lungs. Some of those negative effects are a chronic hacking cough as well as shortness of breath.
