Should you quit your smoking habit? Well, everybody has his own personal reason to quit smoking. It is plain obvious that the best reason to quit smoking is because it is bad for a personâs health. There is just no denying to that fact. Even if some heavy smokers survive during their old age, smoking did not help them do that.
Everybody knows that each stick of cigarette is a small stab at your life. More than four thousand poisonous substances in cigarette exists. Lung damage is absolutely inevitable and lung cancer is also likely.
Another reason why some smokers quit smoking is because each smoke seems to be a waste of money at a time when each dime is valuable. The accumulated amount of cigarettes purchased is like your money burnt. There is certainly a lot more productive and healthier things to spend money on.
If one does not care about his or her own health, then he should think about the health damage he or she is doing to others who live near him or her. The fact is that second hand smoke is even more hazardous than first hand smoke. Second hand smoke stays a longer time in the air, invisible and unnoticed. Those who live around the area cannot escape breathing it in. Thus, smoking at home will also increase lung illnesses such as colds, and cancer to everyone living in the same house such as family and friends.
Aside from health reasons, it will also damage your look too. Smoking is proven to rob oneâs skin of its health. It makes one prone to pimples and other blemishes. In time, it will make oneâs skin age, wrinkle, sag, and wear out faster than it would normally do.
Personal reasons for quitting abound. Some people have been asked to quit by their loved ones or family, whom are of course worried as well as discomforted. Smokers who really want to quit may have had it with the ridiculous and vicious cycle of addiction. It really affectâs oneâs self image.
It does not really matter what the main reason for quitting smoking is, the most important thing is to quit starting right here and right now. It might be tough for a start. It might even be tougher if the person is going through some issues right now since cigarettes are always used as a crutch to help you get on the day. But really, after this, you will find that you are a better person with a cleaner and clearer perspective.

You’re trying to get pregnant. You want a beautiful baby. And you want to experience the joy of motherhood. After being unsuccessful at getting pregnant, you might start to wonder what’s wrong with you and your body. You might wonder, “why am I not getting pregnant”.
So, what I’m going to do is share with you some possible reasons why you’re not getting pregnant. And I’ll share with you a few things you can start doing so that you’ll be able to get pregnant within the next two months.
The reasons why you’re not getting pregnant are:
1. The first thing that can be stopping you from having a baby is smoking and drinking. If you’re smoking or drinking alcohol, you need to stop. At least until you get pregnant and have your baby. Smoking and drinking alcohol dramatically reduces your chances of getting pregnant.
2. Another reason why you’re not getting pregnant could be your nutrition. If you’re not eating the right foods, you will reduce your chance of being able to get pregnant.
3. The third reason could be your sexual partner. If he has low sperm count, it could be the cause of you not being able to become pregnant. But don’t worry, there are some things he can do to increase his sperm count.
Now, a few things you can do right now that will help you get pregnant is to know your body. You need to know when you’re ovulating. This is the best time for you to get pregnant. Also, when you have sexual intercourse during ovulation, make sure you do it in the missionary position.

The decision to stop smoking weed is one that many people are struggling with everywhere. Since marijuana is not considered a âhardâ drug it is common for people to dismiss it as no big big deal. The truth is that smoking marijuana is bad for your body and also your mind. It can have a huge negative impact on your life and it can stop you from achieving a successful future. Here are more reasons to add to your list if you are looking to stop smoking.
Many people around the world are struggling with marijuana addiction. If you are one of them here are some facts that you may not be aware of. Smoking pot does have a negative effect on you respiratory system, ruins social life and discolors your skin. Since marijuana is considered a harmless drug many feel that it does not effect your body in a negative way.
The process of smoking weed requires the inhalation of the smoke that gets you high. The inhalation does damage your lungs and discolors it just like a cigarette would do. People begin to surround themselves with people that smoke weed like them and begin to drift away from people like family and close friends. Becoming isolated is very common among pot smokers.

On the other hand, several smokers do not find any effective reasons to quit smoking cigarettes. Aside from the obvious risk of lung cancer, stroke and heart attacks there are other medical reasons to quit smoking. If improving your own health doesn’t give you enough reasons to quit smoking, it may be interesting to note how smoking has an impact on those around you. The impact on the health of the children in a household where there is a smoker is evident and should be a consideration when looking at reasons to quit smoking. There are other reasons to quit smoking and some of these include just the monetary aspect of smoking.
If you smoke, you are more likely to wrinkle at an earlier age and have deeper wrinkles. You are more likely to become impotent or have difficulty in maintaining an erection when you reach middle age. You are almost four times as likely to develop cervical cancer compared with nonsmokers. You are three times more likely to get middle ear infections than nonsmokers. You are also more likely to snore, which your partners are sure to find anti-social.
Smoking accelerates the hardening and narrowing process in your arteries: it starts earlier and blood clots are two to four times more for those that smoke. A single cigarette can reduce the blood supply to your skin for over an hour. The blood vessels in the eye are sensitive and can be easily damaged by smoke, causing a bloodshot appearance and itchiness. Smoking damages blood vessels, inhibiting blood flow.
Lungs that are constantly irritated by tobacco smoke often start producing too much mucus, which narrows the breathing passages and makes it harder to breathe. This can lead to an uncontrollable cough (so common its easily recognizable as smokers cough), and other breathing problems as the lungs struggle to cope with all the chemicals in tobacco smoke. Your lungs are filling with icky black tar; your heart is working harder to pump blood around your body. Besides doing damage to the lungs that can lead to cancer, smoking hurts the lung’s fragile tissues in other ways.
Cigarettes contain more than 4000 chemical compounds and at least 400 toxic substances. Cigarettes have dozens of cancer causing chemicals in each one. As a smoker you are more likely to develop over 14 different types of cancer, and damage nearly every part of your body. Nicotine is addictive and increases cholesterol levels in your body. Nicotine and toxins in tobacco kill nerve endings around the mouth and nose, reducing your ability to taste and smell. Nicotine is more addictive than heroine or cocaine.

There are a number of reasons why alcohol consumption causes you to want to smoke, some more apparent than others. Read on to find out what all of them are!
First, there’s the obvious one that drinking alcohol lowers your inhibitions and, especially for someone who is trying to quit smoking, makes it harder to resist their temptation to smoke. This is difficult to change because of the way alcohol works with your body, but has its roots in the second reason why drinking makes you want to smoke.
More importantly, though, is that for anybody who has smoked cigarettes for any real period of time (and let’s face it, if you’ve been smoking for two months you aren’t reading this article!) you’ve developed a substantial connection between drinking and smoking. Look outside every bar you can find and you’re guaranteed to find a smattering of cigarette butts lying around there.
Especially as someone who has just started smoking, having one after a few drinks is an excellent feeling. As such, the groundwork is laid for a continuing connection that will become rather difficult to break unless approached correctly. Luckily, that correct approach isn’t really too surprising: you just need to teach your subconscious that smoking and drinking don’t have to be linked, that you can enjoy a few drinks without having to light up a cigarette.
IT sounds weird (and almost like a basis for alcoholism) but practice drinking without smoking, and you’ll notice that over time you’ll become less inclined to smoke when you’re drinking. Just don’t overdo it with the drinks!

Reasons why Alcohol Makes You Want To Smoke More

There are a number of reasons why alcohol consumption causes you to want to smoke, some more apparent than others. Read on to find out what all of them are!
First, there’s the obvious one that drinking alcohol lowers your inhibitions and, especially for someone who is trying to quit smoking, makes it harder to resist their temptation to smoke. This is difficult to change because of the way alcohol works with your body, but has its roots in the second reason why drinking makes you want to smoke.
More importantly, though, is that for anybody who has smoked cigarettes for any real period of time (and let’s face it, if you’ve been smoking for two months you aren’t reading this article!) you’ve developed a substantial connection between drinking and smoking. Look outside every bar you can find and you’re guaranteed to find a smattering of cigarette butts lying around there.
Especially as someone who has just started smoking, having one after a few drinks is an excellent feeling. As such, the groundwork is laid for a continuing connection that will become rather difficult to break unless approached correctly. Luckily, that correct approach isn’t really too surprising: you just need to teach your subconscious that smoking and drinking don’t have to be linked, that you can enjoy a few drinks without having to light up a cigarette.
IT sounds weird (and almost like a basis for alcoholism) but practice drinking without smoking, and you’ll notice that over time you’ll become less inclined to smoke when you’re drinking. Just don’t overdo it with the drinks!

If you were looking for a wake-up call to get you to quit smoking for good, you’ve found it. I have compiled a list of the cold hard facts regarding smoking as well as the impact it will have on your life if you don’t break free from the habit.
Here are some sobering statistics to start things off:
-Worldwide, tobacco use causes more than 5 million deaths per year.
-Current trends show that tobacco use will cause more than 8 million deaths annually by 2030.
-Cigarette smoking is the leading preventable cause of death in the United States.
-In the United States, cigarette smoking is responsible for about one in five deaths annually, or about 438,000 deaths per year.
There is no doubt smoking is a killer. On average, smokers die 13 to 14 years earlier than nonsmokers! That translates to 12 to 14 minutes taken from your life with each cigarette! Each and every one of those cigarettes you smoke is bringing you closer and closer to an early grave.
Some other Reasons to Quit Smoking for Good:
-Food doesn’t taste as good to smokers. When a smoker’s nasal cavity is under the effects of the chemical products found within cigarettes their ability to savor various tastes/aromas is lessened.
-If you smoke, your body will require more sleep than a non-smoker. Additionally, smokers don’t sleep as well as non-smokers
-Smokers find themselves sick more often than non-smokers. The average smoker misses 7 1/2 work days a year compared to 4 1/2 for the non-smoker
-Smoking makes people more irritable and argumentative, in part due to subconscious knowledge of the above mentioned points.
-A correlation has been found between smoking and brain damage/premature senility

There are many reasons why you should quit smoking for good. It is considered to be life-threatening habit and a dangerous form of addiction. Giving it up maybe one of the most difficult task you have to do in your life, as it can have an adverse effect on your physical, psychological and emotional state. But it is something you have to stop before it is too late to improve your health after you quit.
If you are very particular on how you looked especially now that you are getting older. You tend to buy expensive beauty regimen to maintain your youthfulness. But did you know if you quit smoking for good then your skin will recover and youthful appearance is now possible, as smoking can make you older than your actual age.
One reason to quit smoking for good is social acceptance. As many researchers have proven that smoking can provide negative effects on the body of non-smokers, the government itself is now making some moves to protect non-smokers from negative effects of second hand smoking.
As a matter of fact, several business establishments are now banning smokers and if this is you, I guarantee it can be very annoying not to eat anymore with places you frequently go to. Even some landlords prefer to accept non-smokers or the employers around, as they are also thinking on how it can affect their business or their homes.
Moreover, another reason to quit smoking for good is that life is precious. Consider smoking as a slow poison which happens to kill slowly. It is also like playing with your life when you smoke. In addition, smokers are more prone to snoring as they lungs are filled with unwanted particles to unable the lungs to perform accordingly. This is according to the studies made and published in American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
Aside from the physical and emotional aspect of quit smoking for good, by stopping to smoke you can also help save the environment by not adding to the already problem of air pollution. Not to mention the fact that you will be using less of the air fresheners to cover your smoking habit. You can also save tons of money from both the cigar and air freshener.
What’s more your clothes will also smell better compared to the time that you smoke, your halitosis will go away as well. Think about it, there are a lot of reasons why you should choose to quit smoking for good and that reasons is something you have to discover yourself to fully enjoy.

The reasons to give up smoking are just plain too many to mention. It would probably take a day for me to explain in details why should everyone must quit smoking and do it while the damages are still minimal.
Every person has their own reasons why they are smoking, for some it is to ease and calm their sense while working. Then some feels that smoking keep them slim, hip and cool. Others feel that it is just their way to keep themselves occupied and more alive. If any of these are your reasons, the problem is not just smoking cigarettes but your own self-confidence and worth.
If you really value your life and those who care for you, they are all the reasons to give up smoking for good. You do not have to know that cigarettes can shorten your life, make you susceptible to cancer, smell bad and feel bad all the time, as the mere thoughts of what can smoking cigarettes can do to them and you should already be a good reason to finally quit smoking.
Smoking is a habit that once you started to get contended will inevitably ingrain in your life and probably in the life of those who will be your most likely victim. Notice when I say the word “victim”, this is not because you will threaten them with burning but once you keep on smoking, it will naturally affect them as well.
Passive or second hand smoke is even more dangerous than the effect of smoking to your health. This is the reason why in some states in United States, smoking cigarettes indoor is already prohibited and considered as offensive because of the effect it can give any person who will come in contact with smoker.
If you really need reasons to give up smoking, I suggest that you look around you and be the judge on how smoker tend to live their life, better yet, think about what is your life like when you have been smoking and how it affected you, health and financial wise.
You should not wait for a doctor to give you the reasons to give up smoking, because by then you will surely not appreciate whatever the doctor will likely tell you. In fact, I guarantee that you will not like it one bit and may even hate yourself of your own stupidity and carefree life.
The choice is yours and the decisions to quit smoking does not need a mind blowing reasons to make you give it up, other than the fact that it is your way to live longer and healthy.

Marijuana is a drug used by all types of people are around America. Marijuana users are just regular people like teens, blue collar workers, white collar works, stay at home moms and even your neighbor may smoke pot. It does not mean you are a bad person it just means that you have a habit that you are addicted too and need to find a way to quit that will best work with you. Although weed is not considered or labeled as a “hard” drug like many other drugs, people feel that it really is not that big of a problem. The reality is that it is harmful and can hurt your chance of succeeding in your life’s goals. Those looking to stop smoking weed find it difficult to stop because their mind is so used to being high all the time and they are addicted to the high. It is important to remember that it is possible to quit and when you do you will be healthier and will see improvements in your life quickly.
There are many reasons to stop smoking weed but in truth you will not be successful if you are not 100% committed to quitting. Getting high is addicting and a hard habit to stop but it is well worth the work in order to improve your quality of life. Smoking weed damages your lungs, stains your teeth and can hurt your ability to get and keep a job.
The biggest thing that pot smokers do not realize is that when you inhale the marijuana smoke it is damaging your lungs similar to those who smoke cigarettes. Since there have been no cases relating marijuana to cancer many who indulge do not believe that they are hurting their bodies. The fact is that if you do smoke pot you are hurting your health and when you decide to stop smoking weed your lungs will begin to repair themselves! Smoking weed also stains your teeth and damages your gums. People who smoke weed on a regular basis have strained teeth and damaged gums like those people who smoke cigarettes.
These days especially, actually finding a job is hard enough without having extra stress of having to find a way to pass a drug test. Recently drug test have become more common, at least 9 out of 10 jobs will require passing a drug test before you are actually hired. It is stressful enough going through the process of finding work, if you add the stress of passing a drug test it can become unbearable.
There are tons of reasons for you to stop smoking weed but you have to be really willing to go through a dramatic lifestyle change. Reevaluate your life’s situation and make the decision that will best improve your life. Stop smoking weed now and improve your quality of life today.
